I don’t know about you, but I always find myself switching up my makeup bag for the season. Mostly it is because my skin needs different things, but also because different occasions call for different makeup! While I don’t wear a ton of makeup on the daily, here is everything that I have in my winter makeup bag!
I’ve noticed that my skin has just been kind of dull lately! I picked up the It Cosmetics CC+ Cream Illumination and it has saved me over the past few weeks! It gives me the perfect amount of coverage without feeling like I have too much on my face. It also gives me a gorgeous glow! Speaking of It Cosmetics, the Bye-Bye Under Eye Illumination Concealer has also been perfect for me! It brightens my under eye area without looking too dry or cakey.
In terms of bronzer, I’m still loving my Dior Backstage Contour Palette, and I’ve been stacking the Dior Diorskin Nude Luminizer on top of my Tom Ford Soleil Neige Glow Drops which gives a very natural glow to the skin which I need this time of year! I’m usually not a blush user, but I have been really into the blush palette from the Let It Snow Girl palette I picked up a while ago!
This may shock you, but I really don’t do much to my eyes during this time of year. I’m usually just lounging around with family and they don’t care too much, luckily! I’ve been switching between a few different mascaras lately, but the Benefit Roller Lash has been just doing it for me lately! I love the definition, I love the hold, and I love the length! Sadly, the palette I’ve been using seems to be out of stock everywhere, but this Too Faced Shake Your Palm Palms palette has similar colors and is small and affordable as well!
No winter makeup bag would be complete without some serious lip hydration! If you read my post about how to combat dry skin, then you know the Aquaphor ointment is necessary for me this time of year. Other than that, the Dior Stellar Shine lipstick in the shade Diormoon is not only comfortable on the lips, but it is basically a “my lips but better shade”. As for my holiday color for the year, I actually picked up this NARS Velvet Matte Lip Mini in the color Bahama which is a little bit darker than I normally wear, but still comfortable and totally wearable!
