When it comes to blogging, traffic is one of the most difficult things to achieve! With millions of great blogs out there, what makes someone choose yours over another blog? Here are a few tips that you can use to skyrocket your blog traffic!
Make a social media strategy that works for you!
This is one of the most difficult parts of blogging, I’m not even kidding! Having a social media strategy can seriously skyrocket your blog traffic, and if you do it right, it becomes a part of your routine.
For Facebook, I just share my content whenever I post. Since I don’t get a ton of traffic from that channel, I really don’t focus too much on it. I have noticed that as I stay consistent, the higher my engagement has been getting! The same goes for Instagram, I don’t get huge traffic from the platform, so I just share them in my Instagram Stories.
On Twitter, I use Buffer to schedule my tweets for me. Every two hours I share a tweet about one of my blog posts. The best thing about Buffer is that you can retweet your posts so that you don’t have to write out a new tweet every single time.
Pinterest is by far my biggest traffic source. Almost 70% of the traffic I receive from my blog comes directly from Pinterest. I have my boards organized by topic, and I create three new pins for every blog post. My biggest tool for Pinterest is *Tailwind!
Speaking of Tailwind…
One of the main reasons that I was able to skyrocket my blog traffic is because of *Tailwind. Since Pinterest is my biggest source of traffic, I knew that the investment would be completely worth it!
It is a platform that allows you to schedule your pins to any board that you have on Pinterest. It also is a great way to meet other bloggers and share their amazing content through Tailwind Tribes.
If you’re curious about the depths of *Tailwind, then you should check out this post I wrote! You get 30 days for free to test the platform out and see if you like it, but Tailwind seriously is amazing!
