Podcasts are one of my favorite things to listen to when I am chilling out or even when I am doing something. I love how a lot of them almost turn into hanging out with your best friends, and you can learn something as well! I’ve mentioned some podcasts in the past, but these are the podcasts that are getting me through winter!
My Favorite Murder
I’m about three years behind on loving My Favorite Murder, but wow! If you are a lover of true crime, mysteries, or anything of the sort, this is perfect for you. Georgia and Karen deliver real-life stories from history and listeners twice a week. They are seriously hysterical and really do their research before rambling off about a case. Their longer episodes run around an hour, but they have minisodes that are only around 20 minutes.
My younger cousin actually turned me onto this podcast after making me watch a Youtube video with Spencer Henry in it. Once again, this focuses on true crime and some of the biggest mysteries in history such as Lizzie Borden, JonBenét Ramsey, and the origin story for the movie Death of a Cheerleader. Cult Liter is delivered in a similar way to MFM in that he is just honest and himself, which I love!
Private Message Podcast
Okay, this is kind of cheating because this actually isn’t out yet, but I’m excited. If you read my previous post on podcasts, then you’ll know my love for Keeping it Candid and the influencers behind it. After that podcast ended, Sophie Milner teamed up with her friend Gemma Talbot to create a Private Message Podcast all about real advice from dating to sex to work, and I can’t wait to listen!
