0-350k Pinterest Monthly Views: How I Did It

I think by now we know that Pinterest is my favorite tool for blogging, and it probably always will be. I spent quite a while on my first blog sitting on no traffic, no subscribers, and no clue on how I could fix that. If you don’t know, the higher your Pinterest monthly views, the more traffic could potentially come to your blog!

Graphics make a huge difference

Oh my gosh, it really is all about the graphics when it comes to Pinterest. Not only are you just trying to catch someone’s attention to your content, but you are also competing with millions of other amazing content creators as well. The quickest way to increase your Pinterest monthly views is by figuring out a way to create graphics that your audience react to! I’ve written an entire post about exactly how I create my graphics, so be sure to check that out! Here are a few key tips to help you create great graphics!

  • Create long graphics that take up more valuable space on a feed.
  • Find what your brand is, and create graphics that fit you.
  • Have keywords on your photo and descriptions.
  • Don’t junk up the graphic. Keep it clean and organized.
  • Create multiple images to maximize awareness.

Find a strategy that works for you

Pinterest is just like any other social media. You need to figure out a strategy that works for you! I can tell you every single thing that I do, but every audience is different. What I can tell you is that a great strategy will include roughly the same set of “rules”. As I mentioned earlier, finding your brand is so important to increasing your Pinterest monthly views. You want to create a “brand” so that people can recognize your content out of the millions they see every day. Find colors, graphics, fonts, anything that makes you recognizable!

If you haven’t already transferred over to a Pinterest business account, then you need to do it now! Not only does it come across more professional, but it also allows you to know the analytics of your audience, as well as the ability to run advertisements for your pins. I’ve written a few posts on Pinterest if you’re looking for a more detailed look at everything I do.

You NEED Tailwind

*Tailwind has been the best tool I’ve ever invested in for my blog. It has made a huge difference in my Pinterest monthly views as well as my blog traffic! Tailwind has different levels of memberships as well. For $15 dollars a month, you can have access to Tailwind Tribes and Smart Loop. You can also schedule up to 400 pins/month. The ability to schedule pins through *Tailwind has made my Pinterest strategy so easy!

If you’re interested in Tailwind, there is a free trial that lets you see if you like the app before you make the purchase. Even if you aren’t interested in the long term, I highly suggest at least giving it a shot! I actually was totally against *Tailwind until I tried it! If you’re curious about Tailwind, check out this post here!
