Ahh, cooler weather is approaching us and it feels great! As with most of the world, when the weather starts to get cooler, I have a few beauty items that have been switched to fit my new needs! Here are a few things in my fall beauty routine that I am loving right now!
At the beginning of the lockdown I was having serious skin problems. My skin kept breaking out, my texture was all wrong, and nothing was helping. My boyfriend was using this face wash and I decided to give it a try because it was gentle. No joke, this has completely changed my skin! It has improved my texture, it has hydrated my skin, and it is crazy affordable! I use it both morning and night to wash my face and it is gentle and works great with my sensitive skin.
While this is nothing new in my life, I had to include in my fall beauty routine. It is an extremely hydrating moisturizer that performs the same as the higher price options but comes in under $40! This is another item that both my boyfriend and I use. I’m a huge fan of Korean beauty, and this is one of my favorite brands.
Okay…I know a lot of us are not wearing makeup right now! So, hear me out! I have been a light to medium coverage girl for as long as I can remember. Although my skin feels and looks good, I do have some discoloration that is just part of me. While shopping with my mother a few weeks back, she was in the market for a new foundation, so we both picked this one up from Ulta. It has insane coverage, but it doesn’t feel or look like you are wearing a full coverage foundation. You also need the smallest amount which makes it last forever!
I’m an enormous sucker from the Too Faced holiday collections, even though they are the same every year. I told myself that I wasn’t going to pick up anything this year, but here we are. If you are a neutral lover like I am, then it may be worth picking this set up. The shadows are all something that you could wear, the pigmentation is good, and they come in smaller packages which are ideal for travel. Also, they are scented! If you are looking to grow your collection, then I think this is worth picking it up.
When I heard about Selena Gomez coming out with a makeup collection, saying I was uninterested would be an understatement. I decided to give one item a chance, and I am obsessed. The Dewy Lip balm provides a lot of hydration to my lips, and the color is rich and quite flattering. I love that the brand is unscented and it feels good on my. lips and lasts quite a long time, definitely recommended! I have already ordered a few more colors!
It seems like it has been forever since I have mentioned a mascara. I just have not had good luck with them lately! While I was browsing Sephora a few weeks ago, I saw this and decided to give it a try. Do I think it is the best mascara ever? No. Do I think it is better than what I have tried this year so far? Yes. The key is to take your time when applying it, and you can get some fluffy and long lashes!
I’m pretty sure that I have heard about this product for at least ten years, but I never picked it up. After running out of my previous bronzer, I decided to dream myself to the Chanel cream bronzer. Not only do I think it is incredibly versatile, but you also need the smallest amount. It comes in a color that is universally flattering to most skin tones, and with the amount they give you, you are not likely to run out!
Okay, talk about treating yourself…I have seen this forever and I always wanted it. I just could not swallow the price, TBH. I finally decided to quit thinking about it and just pick it up. I also picked up the Make My Day, Call It A Night, and the Manuka Honey masks to go along with my Foreo UFO. It is such a calming skincare step, and I have seen a lot of improvement in the appearance of my wrinkles, dry areas, and even the tone and texture of my skin as well!
