For so many people, their beauty routine either starts or ends in the bathroom. In all honesty, a great beauty routine goes beyond a great skincare range. For me, I like to keep beauty items anywhere I am. Here is everything that I keep in my bedside beauty stash!
Gua Sha Tools
Although I do not do Gua Sha as regularly as I probably should, I still keep my tools beside my bed. If I am having a self-care night, I will get out my tools and spend some time with them. I honestly don’t have a favorite face oil that I use. I am trying a few out and I definitely want to share my thoughts and feelings in a few month’s time. This is the set I have from Amazon as an introductory kit, but I would be interested in investing in some further down the line.
Lip Treatment
Especially during the winter months’, a lip treatment is probably number one on my beside beauty stash list. My lips are always on the dryer side and it is really uncomfortable to have to deal with. I switch between the Jouer Lip Enhancer, Aquaphor Healing Ointment for when my lips are bad, and my loved and trusted Cherry Carmex.
Hand Cream
Since we have all been washing our hands to hell and back over the past year, hand cream has become a bedtime beauty stash essential for me. I’ve honestly never struggled with dry hands until I turned about thirty. For me, L’Occitane just cannot be beaten in terms of quality. It is what my grandmother uses, so it is what I will use as well!
A Bottle of Water
You already know how important water is for you, at any time during the day. I always wake up in the middle of the night completely parched, so a bottle of water right beside me is ideal. I can reach over and grab a drink. Not only is it increasing my water intake, but it helps keep my skin and sinuses hydrated in this dry heat we have in our house.
Pillow Spray
A new thing I have been trying out this year has been a pillow spray. Although lavender is not typically a scent that I love, I do find that it calms me down quite a bit before bed. I found this one on Amazon and I have been enjoying it so far. Since I am focusing on spending more time shopping from small businesses, I think I definitely want to explore more pillow sprays once this has ran out. Oh, a good tip is to spray it on before you brush your teeth and get ready for bed. It gives it time to sink in!

Mica
I have hand cream and water on my bedside table too! I need the cream with the eczema I have on my hands, I apply every night. And when the kids wake in the middle of the night needing a cuddle or a drink or for their blanket to be rearranged, I always have a glass of water by my bed so I can have a big drink too, haha!
Hope that you are having a nice weekend! It’s a bit of a wet one here.

MicaYes, water is always so important to me to have! It seems I always wake up so thirsty in the middle of the night!
Ashley
I love that you keep all of these by your bed! I have all of mine in the bathroom, and honestly I have most things underneath the sink – so I don’t really get into a habit of using them properly. I do keep hand lotion nearby though, my knuckles have been so dry and cracking lately. My hubby is good about keeping water right next to the bed.

AshleyI’m so forgetful sometimes that if I didn’t have them by my bed they would never get used!
