Why consistency is vital as a blogger

Each year bloggers are created. At the end of each year, most of them don’t continue blogging. Why is that? When it comes to blogging, consistency is one of the most important things that you should possess. We all know that blogging doesn’t necessarily happen overnight for everyone, so here are some reasons that you should start to focus on consistency.

It will eventually lead to more followers

We all start out at zero! I know that it really doesn’t seem like that sometimes, especially when people are buying their way into the industry. By focusing on consistency, you’re giving someone a reason to follow you. Not only are they interested in your content, but they also know they can expect new content from you. I know that as a blog reader, I hate when I find someone I love but they rarely post! If you’re trying to grow your blog or grow your email list, then you need to start working on being as consistent as you can be! If you want, you can even use this strategy for your Instagram account!

Consistency shows dedication

Even on the darkest days of my blog, I’ve never given up. When there was only twenty people reading my blog every day, I was still putting as much effort in as when there was 20,000 people. I think that blogging has been a great way to learn life lessons in a weird way. It has helped me learn the importance of a schedule, and why it is important to stick through projects. Surprisingly enough, blogging has taught me a lot about myself! Dedication definitely goes back to the readers of your blog. If you’re not proving why someone should read it, then you cannot expect them to.

A few tips to remember…

  • Don’t give up! Even when you’re not making any moves forward, good things come to those who wait!
  • Blogging is a learning experience. The amount of information I have learned since I began is shocking. No one knows everything!
  • Pick a few topics that you feel comfortable with.
  • It’s a lot easier to be consistent if you’re being yourself!

This is such a great post! Being consistent is so important, not just in blogging, in anything you do. Because if you aren’t consistent, you won’t see any results, won’t make any progress. Consistency is the key of success! xx

Hey, Ashlee! I just found your blog a couple days ago and I am LOVING it. ♥ Your posts are just so informative, and I love how they’re short and to the point. Keep up the amazing work, girl!

I definitely agree about being consistent with your blog. I started a blog quite a few months ago and quickly realized that blogging is not an easy thing to keep up with. But if you are consistent, it will show and really benefit you. Great post!
