5 Morning Habits That You Need to Bring Value and Intention to Each Day
It is often said that who you are in the morning makes you who you are. Morning habits are not only a great way to start your morning, but your energy levels are also at their peak. What you do in the morning can help you accomplish more throughout the day, feel more aligned, and expand into your highest self.
Make a Basic Morning Routine
When you wake up, what are the first few things you do? You need to make a routine that you do every single morning. This can be as basic as taking your medicine, hopping in the shower, and making a coffee. Just a small routine will help you start your day off with a good amount of energy and in the right mindset. After a few weeks of doing your new morning routine, you can add new habits and activities that help you expand.
If you have never tried journaling, I highly recommend it! The best thing about journaling is that you can do it pretty much anywhere. I have some friends who love to keep a journal on their phone, and I have others that love to keep a written journal. Something that is important with journaling is that you are being open and honest with your answers. I also highly suggest that you use different journaling prompts to help explore your mind, heart, and soul!
When it comes to meditation, I know that it is something that people either love or think is a waste of time. I have been actively meditation at least once a day for the past fifteen years, and it is ideal to calm my mind. I love to meditate in the morning because it gives me a fresh start for the day. Sometimes I will meditate with my own thoughts, but I often find a guided mediation on Youtube. Mediation is even something that I do at night to clear my day.
Tarot Readings and Oracle Cards
Okay, I know this is not going to be for everyone, but it has been one of my favorite morning habits. I like to use my tarot and oracle cards to gain clarity on my day, week, or project. TBH, I’m just getting back into tarot after years of not practicing. So I’m not going to be giving you advice on tarot anytime soon, but I did want to share that it is something I am practicing and really enjoying.
